Are you a confident treble vocalist looking for a new challenge? We'd love to hear your voice.
Looking for a new choral challenge? Blend Vocal is a close-knit group of experienced treble singers, holding auditions for each season under the direction of Music Director Réjean Campbell.

What we're looking for
Vocal ability
Be prepared to sing a solo piece that shows off your range and style. We love jazz, musical theatre, and pop, so a song from one of these genres is perfect. Please bring an accompaniment track.
Harmony skills
We'll check your ability to hold your own in a group and blend with other voices.
Sight-singing
You'll be asked to demonstrate reading music and sight-singing. A bit rusty? That's totally okay. A willingness to try and a commitment to learn your part is all we ask.
The commitment
- Rehearsals: Thursdays, 7:00–9:15 PM in Southwest Calgary, starting September 3.
- Performances: A full program each fall and spring season, learned and memorized.
- Workshops: Two six-hour weekend workshops per season to polish our sound and have fun together.
- Volunteering: Every member joins a committee (fundraising, concert planning or another area) to help the choir thrive.
A path to the Ensemble
Auditions for the treble choir take place this fall. Singers who join and show the musical strength and collaborative mindset needed for small-ensemble work may be invited to take part in Ensemble projects, with expanded performance opportunities, including future touring.
